One of the main reasons that we do what we do at Juicy, is to make life better for others.  For this reason we support a university student in Thailand who is studying Media and Communications.  We look after things like living expenses, tuition and books - so she can focus on learning how to give voice to people’s stories.  We like to think of her as a valued member of our team where the mentoring and encouragement works both ways.

Juicy Projects work regularly in the South Pacific and in other remote regions, where it is easy to feel helpless when confronted with real poverty.  Oxfam, which works in 26 countries around the world, runs effective programs to bring a brighter future to many lives.  It was a real privilege in 2008 to fund the building of a home for a family in Vanuatu.

Community organisations rarely have the funds to promote themselves effectively. The Bushwalkers Wilderness Rescue Squad is a little known group of volunteers with expertise at navigating and moving through rugged and un-tracked terrain. They assist Police with remote area searches throughout NSW. Juicy Projects provide pro bono assistance in creating video presentations and communications strategies, and our Senior Producer is involved with searches on a volunteer basis.
